All programsClaude at Work

Stop typing questions. Start getting work done.

Almost everyone who uses an AI assistant is using perhaps a tenth of it: one question, one answer, start again tomorrow. This program is about the other nine tenths. Two weeks, in the evenings, on getting real work through Claude — long documents, messy spreadsheets, repeatable tasks you do every week — and on knowing when to check it, because the cost of a confident wrong answer lands on you and not on the model.

Who this is for

  • Anyone using Claude or ChatGPT daily who suspects they are barely scratching it
  • Managers, analysts and operations people with repetitive written work
  • Founders and small teams with no time and no head-count
  • Lawyers, accountants, recruiters and consultants who work in documents all day
  • Teachers and researchers handling large amounts of reading

Engineers who want to build on the API rather than use the product — Applied AI Engineering covers tool use, agents and serving.

Prerequisites

  • None.

No coding, no maths, no prior AI experience. You need a laptop and an account on any current assistant; a free tier is enough for everything we do.

Modules

Module 1Week 1

Getting answers you can actually use

Why a vague question gets a vague answer, and the four things every good instruction carries — role, context, task, format. Working with long documents and large pastes without losing the thread. Projects and saved context, so you stop re-explaining your job every morning. Then the part most training skips: where it invents things, and the ninety-second habit that catches it.

IN THE SESSION

Take a task you actually have this week, write the prompt badly, then rebuild it with role, context, task and format — running it after every addition and keeping both answers side by side.

You leave with: A prompt library of your own, built from your real work, saved and reusable.

Module 2Week 2

Your actual week, automated

Turn the repetitive parts of your job into workflows you run rather than rewrite: summarising and triaging inbound mail, turning notes into decisions and actions, drafting in your own voice, reading a spreadsheet and telling you what changed, first-pass review of a document. We build three of them together, on your own material, and you leave with them working.

IN THE SESSION

Build three workflows on your own material: an inbox triage, a document reviewer and a weekly report. They run before you leave the session.

You leave with: Three repeatable workflows running on your own work.

What you walk away with

  • Three working workflows on tasks you actually repeat every week
  • A personal prompt library, not a list of tips from a blog
  • A reliable habit for checking output before it leaves your desk
  • Every session recording, and the course materials
  • Codnov Certificate of Completion, with a unique ID and a public verification link

Sample projects

  • An inbox triage workflow that sorts, summarises and drafts replies
  • A document reviewer that flags what changed and what needs a human
  • A weekly report built from raw notes and numbers
  • A research assistant that reads a set of sources and answers with citations
